The AST Dew Tour in Salt Lake City Utah was a huge success for the Alpinestars team. The day before the Dew Tour started OGIO had a huge mini supermoto race at the factory, and Virtual Bikez brought out 15 of the most factory mini bikes ever seen. Drake McElroy, Kevin Kiraly, Dustin Nowak and many others turned in lap after lap taking full advantage of the Virtual Bikez. That event was a blast, but it was time for the Dew Tour to take place...and the Salt Lake fans were ready. Ryan Guettler came out killing it in the BMX Park, earning a strong second, and riding like the champ he is. One of the many tricks he did during his run was the double back flip, in which he landed perfectly. Guettler killed it rocking Alpinestars proud, spreading the love all week during multiple TV interviews. Let’s move on to vert BMX, where one man stands in a category of his own. The superstar I’m about to mention spends more time following MotoGP, then he does on his bicycle, but you could never tell by his riding. I’m talking about none other then AST Dew Tour champion Jamie Bestwick, who amazed the fans by coming out of the half pipe 4 feet above all the other top athletes. Jamie took the win, and a well deserved one at that. Next guy in the mix is Young buck Kevin Kiraly, this kid has been amazing everybody with his BMX park skills. Kevin made the main taking out some of the top athletes in the World, and then road like a champ putting together some breathtaking runs. Now let’s move on to freestyle motocross where Drake McElroy cracked open the stylish tricks he is known for moving his way right into the FMX finals. Drake is the legend in the sport, and is respected by all the core skateboard athletes for having such a unique fresh style. While Drake was putting on a show, Nate Adams owned the event wowing the fans with some of the biggest tricks in freestyle motocross. The weekend in Salt Lake City was great for the Alpinestars team, every athlete rode their heart out. Come back in a couple weeks for the Dew Tour finals in Orlando Florida.
