(By Chanelle Sladics) Hey everybody, quick contest update. I did the boardfest event labor day weekend in Huntington beach. This event was really special to me, b/c it was an all girls event, with a triple threat title at stake! I am happy to say the weekend went really well for me. I took the 1st women's triple threat title! (placing 1 in snow portion, and 1st in skateboard portion), I also competed in the pro snowboard rail jam, and surf contest separately. I won the best 2 tricks in the snowboard jam, and made it to quarterfinals in the pro surf event. This weekend was like a triathlon, especially in that heat! Just wanted to post you the scoop, I attached photos that my mom took, for any of you wanting to do a web story or whatever...this event had really good exposure. This was my dream contest...right in my home town. Being able to showcase my life, which is snowboarding, skating, and surfing!!! I love it!
