Formula One Rd.4 - Barcelona, Spain

Two wins in a row for Massa. Aguri scores first point! - Another GP in the books for 2007 and another race that proves that there is indeed competition in the Formula One racing scene. Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso battled over territory in the first corner but after Ferrari's Felipe Massa took control of the race he established a cushion that just kept getting bigger and bigger and by the time the second pit stops were over that cushion was far from being challenged. Alonso and Hamilton had lap times that matched the Brazilian's but Massa was solid the throughout the race and there would be no stopping him in Spain. One thing that the McLaren's did better than the Scuderia was to come home with both cars in tact, something that Ferrari will need to work on if they want to challenge for the Constructor's championship. Kimi Raikkonen was out of the race after 9 laps due to an alternator problem.

BMW Sauber saw some good times as well after Robert Kubica brought his F107 home in fourth place but luck wasn't so good for team-mate Nick Hiedfeld. Nick suffered a bad pit stop and later transmission problems ultimately forced him to retire the race. BMW remains third in the Constructor's with 23 points.

Toyota not having the best of races...again! The race for Toyota was off to a bad start before the race even got under way for them. Jarno Trulli stalled the TF107 on the grid due to a fuel pressure problem so he re-started from the pits but only lasted eight laps before the same fuel problem forced him to retire the race. Ralf Schumacher was having a good race but a hit from Alexander Wurz made Schumacher retire with a loose nose.

A very delightful moment in the Spanish GP was when Super Aguri scored it's first ever point in F1 competition. The SA07 cars were right on the pace of the big-brother Honda's RA107. Takuma Sato fought a great race to snatch eight from Giancarlo Fisichella who was followed by Rubens Barrichello, Anthony Davidson and Jenson Button.

Next race is the big one in Formula One action. Monaco. This is going to get interesting.
