Back in the late 1990s, for all intents and purposes, the first wave of competitive “OG” freestyle riders were established or cast off racers with names like Brian Deegan, Mike Metzger, Carey Hart, Travis Pastrana and the inimitable “Mad” Mike Jones. In contemporary times, though, a number of the world’s best FMX pilots purposely set out to build professional motorcycle careers by launching motocross bikes off ramps and jumps. Nate “The Destroyer” Adams is a perfect example.
