
James Toseland took the first race win after Troy Bayliss crashed out injuring his finger and being taken from the track for immediate surgery on his injury. Nitro Noriyuki Haga took race two as he, Biaggi and Corser had it out in a turn by turn thrilling event. On the final corner Max Biaggi ran wide and Noriyuki Haga zoomed past to score his first win of the year. Troy Corser was right there with Haga and Biaggi, he finished third and now sits fourth overall in the standings with 81pts.
